Don't worry about losing the ability to slit throats because there are a million other ways to kill the enemy. (I'm about to go out and do some excercising to take advantage of the lovely weather, so I'll respond and check when I get back. Go into the Lilypad settings, select the button you're using to hold the enemy, and set the sensitivity lower, I don't remember exactly the number, maybe it's 0.4 or 0.6. Is there a reason to play the HD collection on ps3? How "HD" is it really? Any opinions are helpful. The advantage of emulating mgs3 is I can stream it to my friends and it will look very clean and crisp. I really love the MG franchise now and I am to beat all of the games (except for maybe the famicom ones). I have tried hardware and software for DX9, DX11, and OpenGL with all different settings and it's always the same result. I have literally tried everything for the past 3 hours trying to get this game to run properly but no matter what settings I use I get terrible lag during cutscenes and outdoor areas. In fact, It might look somewhat better, (though I'm not certain.) I want to know the MGS community's opinion on this. Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance terrible lag. For the the record I have not had any luck with the PS2 versions. I would recommend trying that and then the only issue you may have to live with is the occasional FPS dip. Honestly, I'm having a hard time seeing a significant difference between mgs3 subsistence on pcsx2 compared to on an actual ps3 in the HD collection. They do state that you should drop the audio latency down to 50ms for MGS2 and 3 along with a few other tweaks. I own subsistence for actual PS2, and I have the HD collection on PS3 as well. PCSX-Reloaded, Playstation (PSX), Windows, 0.6MB, Download. I have a pretty good (although outdated) PC which will run any PS2 game on PCSX2 without issue, and with multiple times the internal resolution and other enhancements.
